11 Aug Holiday Celebrate!!!!!
I have seen so many people who use an SPF 50 while protecting their skin in the sun. As they believe that the higher an SPF rating is the better protection!
While it may seem that a product with a higher SPF than 30 would offer a dramatically increased protection rate from UVB rays, it is mostly comprised of an increased level of sunscreen chemicals, which can cause a higher rate of irritation in skin, and provide little increasein the amount of UVB protection.
So my advice ? Make sure you are putting plenty of product at least a heaped teaspoon just for the face. Apply 30 mins before sun exposure and more frequently, say every hour is preferable and always after you swim or exercise.
Higher certainly does not mean it’s better.
Have fun and stay protected in the sun.
